SimplySync Cloud is operated by Jerico Pulvera. By purchasing or using the hosted relay or optional database, you agree to these terms. You must be legally able to enter this agreement where you live.
1. The service
SimplySync Cloud is a managed relay that moves end-to-end encrypted SimplySync data between your devices. Delivery consists of a personal relay URL after confirmed checkout. The Creem receipt also contains a license key that can recover the relay page.
The relay stores encrypted payloads and the metadata needed to deliver them. It does not receive the recovery phrase or encryption keys needed to read your balances, merchants, notes, or other finance content.
An active subscription may also create one physically separate, initially empty Cloudflare D1 database for its own application schema and rows. This optional database is intentionally readable by Cloudflare and technically administrable through the operator's Cloudflare account. It does not decrypt, copy, or automatically synchronize the encrypted relay or the SQLite database on your device. You choose what data to write to it.
The database is reached through a bearer-authenticated HTTP SQL endpoint. Each database has an 8 MiB observed-size target and 500 executed requests per UTC day, with daily circuit breakers at 1,000,000 rows read and 1,000 rows written. Customer-requested setup or repair is limited to 10 attempts per subscription per UTC day, and bearer creation or rotation to 3; both reset at 00:00 UTC. A check that finds an already-current ready database does not consume the setup allowance. D1 reports row and size usage after execution, so one accepted statement can cross those targets before later work is fenced. Each request accepts one statement, up to 16 KiB of SQL and 50 parameters, returns at most four rows, three explicit result expressions, or 1 MiB, and is subject to per-minute rate limits. Wildcard projections are not accepted. The launch policy accepts simple single-source reads; CTEs, joins, aggregates, nested or compound reads, query-sourced writes, triggers, foreign-key actions, secondary-index creation, rewriting table alterations, and value-expanding write expressions are not accepted. UPDATE requires LIMIT 1; DELETE requires a literal LIMIT no greater than 1,000; and INSERT/REPLACE accept one direct values row. The receipt license key is required to create the database or rotate its separate bearer credential.
Each subscription supports up to five synced identities sharing one pooled encrypted-storage allowance. The self-serve monthly plans are:
| Pooled allowance | Monthly price | Monthly sync work units | Blob chunks |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 GiB | US$3 | 40,000 | 10,000 |
| 25 GiB | US$5 | 80,000 | 20,000 |
Higher-capacity service is available by arrangement. Contact us about higher capacity; we will confirm its allowance, usage limits, and monthly price before checkout and any charge.
Encrypted event envelopes stored in D1 share a separate 64 MiB account limit; encrypted blob bodies use the selected pooled allowance and blob-chunk limit. The calendar-month work allowance is weighted by infrastructure exposure: an accepted event uses two units plus six per push, each group of up to 80 compacted stream IDs uses two plus two per request, a new blob upload uses ten, a blob download uses three, usage reads use two, and status scans add one per 4,000 stored events. Event pulls are capped at 100 rows and use two overhead units plus the larger of one unit per 25 returned rows or per 64 KiB of returned envelopes. Authenticated rejected work retains up to two units; missing or invalid credentials and payloads rejected before authentication do not consume the allowance. Reads and writes can be paused after a limit is reached. The service is for personal SimplySync use and is not a general-purpose backup, file-hosting, or public-sharing service.
2. Subscription and billing
- Self-serve plans currently offered on the website are US$3/month and US$5/month. For higher-capacity service, the allowance, limits, and monthly price are confirmed in writing and at checkout before any charge.
- The first charge is due when you subscribe. There is no free trial.
- The subscription renews monthly until canceled.
- The checkout total shown by Creem is the amount charged, including any applicable indirect tax Creem calculates.
Changing an active subscription in place is not offered. To choose another capacity, end the current subscription through Creem My Orders and start a full-price replacement after its paid term ends. The authenticated completed checkout and signed billing updates control the allowance shown by the service.
A replacement checkout is rejected unless retained pooled bytes, event history, and blob count fit the selected tier. SimplySync Cloud does not currently provide a hosted blob-deletion control, so reduce data in your client before ending the current subscription if you plan to restart on a smaller allowance.
Creem is the merchant of record and contractual reseller for this purchase. Creem collects payment, handles applicable indirect taxes, and issues the receipt or invoice. Its processing is also governed by the Creem Buyer Terms and Creem Privacy Policy.
3. Cancellation, payment problems, and refunds
You can cancel through Manage billing on your personal relay page or through Creem My Orders. The billing portal shows when cancellation takes effect and stops the next renewal.
When paid access ends, or if a payment becomes past due, disputed, or refunded, new writes pause. Existing encrypted relay data remains readable for a 30-day recovery window, with 5,000 read-only recovery work units per former allowance unit in each calendar month. An existing optional application database also becomes read-only during that window. At the deadline, access is fenced and a bounded Workflow begins removing the database route, isolated Worker and D1, encrypted relay events and blobs, owner mappings, and usage records. Billing, recovery, fraud-prevention, and legally required records may be retained separately. Neither data plane is a permanent-backup guarantee.
To request a refund, email support@simplysync.org with the Creem order reference and the reason for the request. We review requests based on the circumstances and applicable consumer law; Creem processes any approved refund. Nothing in these terms limits a right that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
4. Your responsibilities
Your relay URL, recovery phrase, Creem license key, and database bearer token are sensitive credentials. Keep them private, do not send them to support, and secure the devices on which they are stored. The database token is shown once; anyone who obtains it can exercise every SQL scope granted to it until you rotate or revoke it.
You are responsible for the schema and readable data you place in the optional database, including having a lawful basis to process it, keeping an independent copy of important data, and using the service lawfully. You must not probe or disrupt the service, bypass quotas or access controls, upload unlawful material, resell access, or use either data plane to harm other people or systems.
We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk, nonpayment, legal requirements, or service integrity.
5. Availability, changes, and responsibility
We work to keep SimplySync Cloud available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, provider outages, security events, or changes to SimplySync may affect the service. Features, limits, or pricing may change prospectively; material changes will be reflected on this page before they apply to a new billing period where reasonably possible.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and without implied warranties beyond rights that cannot be excluded. We are not responsible for indirect or business losses arising from personal use of the service. Nothing here excludes liability that applicable law says cannot be excluded.
6. Contact and policy changes
Questions, billing issues, and legal notices can be sent to support@simplysync.org. We aim to respond to customer support requests within three business days.
If these terms change, the revised date will appear at the top. Continued use after a revised version takes effect means you accept the updated terms, subject to any notice or consent that applicable law requires.
